Core strength is essential for all developmental skills. A weak core can render everyday tasks difficult for children, including sitting on a chair, holding a pencil, tying shoes, and playing in the playground.
Signs of a weak core can include:
Slumped or slouched posture
Resting arms on a table and holding the head up with hands
Difficulty sitting still and frequently shifting position
