Naomi Kessler, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Naomi Kessler is a seasoned and dedicated pediatric occupational therapist with over 12 years of experience helping children find their strengths and soar! She’s worked across schools, clinics, and homes, including a leadership role as the head OT at a special education school in NYC, where she made waves with her passion for helping kids succeed.
Driven by a strengths-based, child-centered philosophy, Naomi knows that therapy should be more than exercises—it should be an adventure! She infuses each session with creativity and play, weaving in her clients’ unique interests to create an experience that feels like fun rather than work. For Naomi, therapy isn’t just about overcoming challenges; it’s about empowering kids to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest.
Naomi’s journey began with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Rutgers University in 2009, followed by her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from NYU in 2012. Always a student at heart, she’s committed to expanding her expertise to better serve her clients, diving into advanced training in areas like reflex and sensory integration, self-regulation, executive functioning, and trauma-informed care. She’s also certified in Interactive Metronome and Therapeutic Listening, bringing even more tools to her clients’ therapy journey.
When she’s not working with kids, you’ll likely find Naomi on the move—training for marathons, biking, practicing yoga, or hiking. She’s passionate about the power of hobbies and self-care and knows firsthand that they’re essential for mental and emotional well-being. Naomi loves sharing this philosophy with her clients, helping them build their own “toolbox” to navigate life’s ups and downs.
