Dr. Gavi Gordon, OTD, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Gavi (aka, Adam) a dedicated and versatile professional whose journey from education to occupational therapy is fueled by a genuine passion for helping people reach their fullest potential. He earned his Master’s of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University in 2012 and began his career as a middle school teacher, working closely with students to nurture their strengths and overcome obstacles. But as he noticed more students struggling with sensory processing and self-regulation, he was inspired to dig deeper into how he could help them thrive.
In 2023, Gavi earned his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Yeshiva University’s Katz School of Science, bringing his expertise to a new level. Today, he’s devoted to providing client-centered care, believing that therapy works best when it’s a collaborative journey between child, parent, and therapist. He’s passionate about supporting children in achieving mental and occupational well-being, leveraging occupational therapy as a powerful tool for enabling children to live a balanced and fulfilling life.
Outside the clinic, Gavi enjoys quality time with his family, playing and exploring music, and getting lost in a good book. He brings this same joy and curiosity to his work, helping his clients discover the strengths they need to lead their best lives.
